P. 25

The students act the role of investigators, carefully opening a moving
box (which was found “accidentally” by the artist this morning), investigating the box itself and the contents inside, in order to find out
as much as possible about the owner, and hopefully, return the moving
box to its rightful owner. Making sure not to contaminate potential clues, they wear gloves and work systematically. Working in teams, the contents are listed and categorized by color, shape, numbers and field of use.
Main activity: this is a glimpse from a main activity within Theme 8: The Moving Box. In the main activities in the Art of Learning sessions, the students work on a task related to the overall theme. All the main activities within a theme follow
a narrative, building on each other. This task is cross-curricular connecting elements from different subjects and from different art fields. The main activity
is always challenging, practical, collaborative and supports students to be both physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually engaged.
