4th level: The Art of Learning activities
The activities are the 4th level of the Art of Learning content, and equal the actual activities performed by the students. The activities were either created brand new, or amended from existing well-tested activities.
The 1st level, The Art of Learning Performative learning theory, is key to the choosing and development of activities in this 4th level. For instance, one principle from the Performative learning theory is to have an “Artbased repertoire of approaches”. In practical terms, this means that for each activity, we are considering which art form to use, which materials to use, which format to work in, and what level of collaboration to use. These considerations are based on both finding the best fit for level 2 (the theme) and level 3 (the session) in question, and on the Art of Learning as a whole, making sure the students get experience with a broad repertoire of art forms, formats, materials and collaborative methods throughout the programme. In the same way, the other principles from the Performative learning theory have been taken into account for each activity.
